Project description
Multipurpose Watershed Management Project at the Sun Valley Park and Recreation Center was a pilot project designed to minimize flooding and storm water pollution, increase the groundwater supply recreational opportunities, and for the overall community beautification. The project included major excavation works, earthworks, construction and installation of underground concrete structures, an infiltration system, a groundwater collection system, storm drain pipelines, catch basins, reconstruction of football fields and park facilities.
